Blood from AIDS victim spilt in lab

A small amount of blood from a patient critically ill with AIDS has entered Melbourne’s sewers after a phial of the victim’s blood was accidentally spilled into a St Vincent’s Hospital laboratory water bath. — The Age, 1 October 1983, p 5.
