AIDS research to receive grant of $100,000

A $100,000 fund for research into acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) has been established by the National Health and Medical Research Council. The fund was announced yesterday by Professor David Pennington, Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and chairman of the council’s working party on AIDS. — Canberra Times, 28 October 1983, p 12.
